The challenge

Telos Medical Centre is a new integrative medical group, led by Dr Anchita Karmakar (Medical Director) and Abir Karmakar (General Manager). The group is establishing two practices across Brisbane’s northside: Brighton, now open, and Stafford, due to open in Q4 2026. CAKE was engaged from the earliest strategic stage: brand development, positioning and naming rationale, through to visual identity, a new website (currently under development), physical branding and practice communications, and the paid and organic strategy required to bring the group to market.

A continuity thread runs beneath the launch: the group carries forward an existing patient base and clinical team from its predecessor, Vibe Natural Health, and the messaging was required to protect that trust as every visible element of the brand was built anew. The brief was to develop a comprehensive, GP-led integrative medical group’s brand, voice and market presence from a blank page, built to extend cleanly from Brighton’s launch to Stafford’s opening.

This work was delivered within one of the most tightly regulated advertising environments in Australian marketing. Every brand asset, page, practitioner profile and advertisement was required to meet AHPRA advertising guidelines and TGA rules, alongside Meta’s advertising policies — no testimonials regarding clinical care, no outcome claims, no implied health status, with practitioner titles and billing language held to precise, non-negotiable definitions throughout.

CAKE’s scope covers brand strategy and identity development, a new website (currently under development), physical branding and practice communications, service-line and practitioner copy, a full paid and organic media program, media and community relations across both practices, an ongoing personal profile campaign for Dr Anchita Karmakar, and the planning and delivery of the Brighton launch event, alongside the ongoing development and campaign build for Stafford’s Q4 2026 opening.

the results

“CAKE didn’t just market our practice they understood it.

As GP business owners running two clinics, a medical education company, and everything in between, we needed a marketing partner who could keep up with the complexity of healthcare the regulations, the nuance, the multiple audiences. CAKE delivered beyond anything we expected.

From day one, they took the time to genuinely understand our vision: what Telos means, who we serve, and how we wanted to show up in our community. They translated that into a brand and digital presence that feels authentically us professional, warm, and purposeful. The strategy across our practice, our education business, and our professional profile has been seamless and cohesive.

What sets CAKE apart is that they think like business partners, not vendors. They anticipate, they advise, they challenge us when needed, and they execute brilliantly. Every deliverable has been polished, on time, and on message.

For any medical practice owner who’s tired of generic agencies that don’t understand healthcare CAKE is the answer. We can’t recommend them highly enough.
